Mr. Om Prakash Chopra – the Managing Director, Singhbhum Machinometal Private Limited – is such a strategic thinker, leader, and front runner who shoulders the onus of continuous planning, innovation, execution, and management at SMPL.
As a student he found great penchant for technology. He liked devising new ways and creating advanced mechanical tools which could add more to the total derivable productivity from the machine in question. He got this excellence validated by passing out Bachelors of Engineering (Mechanical) from Manipal Institute of Technology.
In his career span of 24 years by now, he served ASIA (Adityapur Small Industries Association) as the Vice President and JAMCO (Jamshedpur Auto Components Manufacturers Consortia Private Limited) as the President. He, with his visionary strategies, progressive guidelines, and the technical expertise, helped ASIA and JAMCO set multiple landmarks in the industry, and now his has consistently been driving SMPL forward with his valuable experience and excellence.
Mr. Abhishek Chopra, Director (Administration)
An MBA from University of Tasmania, Australia, and holding Bachelors of Engineering (B.E. – Industrial Production) from Manipal Institute of Technology, Abhishek Chopra is a true genius with his dynamic management skills.
He is an authority on strategic administration which is obvious with the way he has nurtured SMPL’s internal management teams over the years. Through his progressive management decisions, he has driven SMPL ahead of several arduous milestones in the recent past, and as always he continues to help SMPL expand on the global horizon like never before. Besides, he also takes a keen interest in developing innovative sustainable production techniques for the organization.
